Dip Arch (Rand) MIA He was born in Kroonstad in the Orange Free State, son of Gerhardus Johannes Mayer. He served in the office of MOERDYK from 1938 until 1942. He became technical adviser to the University of Pretoria from 1942 until 1945. He married Elizabeth Jane nee Moors on 1948 11 29 with whom they had two sons and two daughters. He is recorded (1963) as having directorships in Tectron (Pty) Ltd and CN Beyers Pty (Ltd) as well as proprietorship in the Hazyview Motel and the De Rust Rest Camp. He records (1963) a senior partnership with BLOEM in HENNIE MAYER and BLOEM.References
