Born in Den Haag, the Netherlands, son of Johannes Christiaan Ludeker. Studied at Zeist, Utrecht. Registered as professional engineer in the Netherlands. Emigrated to South Africa in 1936. In South Africa worked for the architect Max GOLDSTEIN (1936-1938). Thereafter for Marble Lime and Associated Industries Ltd. (1938-1947).At age 25, married Gloria Mvioslava Anna Suklje, age 23, on 4 Feb 1939 in the Catholic Church, Benoni. Their marriage certificate gives his occupation as Architect. Since 1948 Ludeker was Public Relations Officer for the Roberts Construction Group of Companies (1963). He also served as Chair of the Builders Committee of the Rand Daily Mail Ideal Homes Week. In 1963 he is recorded as Member of the Netherlands Institute of Engineers in South Africa as well as the Austrian Society of Engineers and Architects.
