Was an architect of Dutch origin practicing in in Johannesburg in the 1950s and 60s.

Born Naarden,the Netherlands, grandson of the City Architect of Amsterdam, Jacobus van Niftrik (See Wikipedia).

Was registered as practicing at 26, Lanchester Avenue, Craighall Park, Johannesburg in the SAAR of January 1951 (p. 24). He did alterations and additions to Jeppe Boys High Preparatory School (Contractor Mr P van Duyn) to the amount £10 570 in 1953 (SAAR February 1953, p. 40). By 1959 he is recorded as practicing from 807/9 Dominion Insurance House, 58 Marshall Street, Johannesburg.

He married Matherina Margaretha (Dikje) Roorda on 1941-06-28, by whom he had four children, one now a metal artist in the United Kingdom (see Syann Van Niftrik).
