| | GOODRUM, ?Born: fl. 1922
Architect |
'A young bricklayer whose misfortune it is never to have been out of South Africa,' Gordon LEITH noted in a short article on Goodrum's buildings in March 1922 in Building. Leith took Goodrum's work as examples of vaulting in domestic buildings, having a particular interest in vaulting himself, an interest he shared with GLP MOERDYK. Goodrum developed a stone and brick vaulting system in an attempt to overcome the scarcity of timber during the First World War. Currently nothing more is known of Goodrum.
