| | GREER, Norman JamesBorn: 1902 Died: ?Architect |
Born in Kimberley, Greer was educated at Germiston High School; it is not certain where he received his architectural training. As a school boy he moved to Springs in 1914 and later joined Springs Municipality (n.d.). He married in 1928 and set up his own practice in the same year. He was responsible for a number of buildings in Springs and the surrounding area but currently little is known of his work. He resigned from the Institute of South African Architects in 1951. He was the older brother of the architect EV GREER.
