GROVÉ, Petrus Johannes

Architect/Contractor

Petrus Johannes Grové of Rose Street, Cape Town, was listed as a builder in the 1856 edition of the Cape of Good Hope Almanac and Annual Register. In another section of the almanac, he was listed as 'Pieter' and an architect. Two other Grovés, namely Andreas Henricus (an architect and builder) and Hendrik (an ornamental plasterer) were listed at the same address. They were evidently Pieter's adult sons, who followed in his footsteps. (Arthur Radburn, December 2025)
