See more photographs Dinokeng is a farm about 50km from Johannesburg. Dinokeng Lodge (Private) is built on a most beautiful site at the confluence of the Crocodile & Hennops rivers. The rivers are weired up forming a substantial body of flat water behind which is a high cliff face. The site is well endowed with many large indigenous trees. The concept was to integrate with the environment by fragmenting the building into a number of separate structures centred around the entertainment centre, to which the bedrooms are connected via raised timber walkways.
