'An immense building' with a 'sombre and monumental aspect' derived from the heat-reflecting glass curtain wall grey-green glass sheathing. A 'particularly handsome building' with swelling facades, vertical aluminium mullions balanced by the horizontal glass spandrels, less opaque than the fenestration (Greig, 1971 155-156). Named for IW SCHLESINGER.
