Johannesburg-Wes is op 13 Desember 1930 van die Gereformeerde kerk Johannesburg afgestig. Op 1 April 1943 het Johannesburg en Johannesburg-Wes saamgesmelt en tot 22 Oktober 1950 bekendgestaan as Johannesburg-Wes. Toe is Johannesburg herstig. Johannesburg-Wes het op sy eie voorbestaan tot 1998. Die kerk bestaan nog, maar is onherkenbaar. (Morné van Rooyen 1015) Johannesburg West congregation hived off from the Johannesburg Reformed church on 13 December 1930. On 1 April 1943 Johannesburg and Johannesburg West re-amalgamated, so as to reconstitute the Johannesburg congregation. Johannesburg West returned to its former separate status and existed until 1998. The church building is extant but unrecognisable. 2017: The church has been converted into a house.
