This house is extant, now used as a guest house. It was originally named 'Ashby', and is now 'Ashby Manor'. According to the City of Cape Town Heritage Building Plans Register (2013), the plans were approved in 1903. (Arthur Radburn, July 2023) (SAA&B Jun 1905:181 ill; Pryce-Lewis list 9 412, 9 530).
