The architect of the new "Suncrush" factory has achieved ... an arresting frontal elevation without recourse to curves. (PWSA June 1940 Vol IV No 20 : inner cover). The 1958 Johannesburg Telephone Directory lists SUNCRUSH on page 38. They were located at 8 La Rochelle Road, Stafford and were manufacturers of Aerated Waters and Squashes. Now used by a panel beating company (2026) The building has been extensively altered but some fragments of the original external wall are just visible. (William Martinson, February 2026)
