4 Mei 1946 | Ds. S.P. Viljoen het die Hervormde kerk Brixton se hoeksteen 80 jaar gelede gelê. Nadat die gemeente in 1989 met Crosby as Goudrand verenig en dié toe in 2000 by die Hervormde gemeente Johannesburg ingelyf is, is die gebou in ’n Hindoetempel omskep. Die oorspronklike argitek was Hendrik Vermooten, self lidmaat van die NHKA. (Morné van Rooyen, May 2026) Translation May 4, 1946 | Rev. S. P. Viljoen laid the Brixton Reformed church cornerstone 80 years ago. After the congregation united with Crosby as Goudrand in 1989 and was then incorporated into the Reformed congregation of Johannesburg in 2000, the building was converted into a Hindu temple. The original architect was Hendrik Vermooten, himself a member of the NHKA.
