The Hostel, 86 Commercial Street, Zonnebloem (previously District Six). This 1936 art deco building designed by Martin Adams while working on the CHUC (Citizen's Housing Utility Company) project. It was previously known as the Stakesby-Lewis Hostel and is culturally significant as the hostel for students was the venue of many important political meetings. It is currently used as shared office space which is rented out.
