(SAB Mar 1939:70; FRIBA nom papers 1951) At the time of inspection by Rennie in 1978 the name of the building was Meyer and Ferreira Furniture Makers and he writes that it 'appears to have been built for the Crawford Carpet and Linoleum Company'. The building is now [2023] the 'Innscape on Castle' hotel.
