He may have been articled to PAYNE & PAYNE with whom he was associated on the design of the Methodist Church in Moore Rd, Durban. He worked in the office of Payne & Payne from at least 1930 and later entered into partnership with WS PAYNE. The name of the firm was PAYNE & PEYTON. Reg Prob RIBA, Durban, 1922-23.
