LRIBA, Bloemfontein 1912
Worked in Bloemfontein from about 1900 until 1920; he was an Englishman, educated at St Olave's Grammar School, London and articled in London to Charles H Flack of Bedford Row. He settled in Bloemfontein in May 1900, opening a practice there and marrying in 1902. In 1912 he was elected a Licentiate member of the RIBA, his nomination papers stated he had been a principal for not less than ten years, the papers being witnessed by his then assistant, RH SHAW. Few buildings by him have so far been recorded, and those all before 1905. His career after 1912 is currently obscure.
