Johnson (1987) says that GG Milne appeared as a signatory on work by H BAKER at Villa Struben (1894-5). He was perhaps the Milne who entered into partnership with TA SLADDIN in Cape Town in 1899 (cf MILNE & SLADDIN). Johnson lists a number of houses carried out by Milne between 1901 and 1903; nothing is recorded of Milne after 1903 although the practice continued as Milne & Sladdin until FRE Sladdin died in 1915. Milne was a founder member of SASA in Cape Town in 1901.
