Was the son of Rowland RIDGWAY and a founder member of the Natal Institute of Architects. He practised in Durban and was in partnership there with EA HENRY from about 1901 (cf RIDGWAY & HENRY). In about 1898 he was working for the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, Natal taking over AE DAINTON's position as assistant draughtsman on Dainton's promotion to Architect of the PWD in Natal. His career is obscure. NIA.
