Registered as a probationer of the RIBA, of address Mowbray, Cape Town in 1911. Appears to have commenced working as an architect in Cape Town. By 1940 his address was c/o WH GRANT in Cape Town. In 1944 he joined FM GLENNIE and they were joined by H SIKKEL in 1946 (GLENNIE, EGAN and SIKKEL). In 1959 he is recorded as still principal and partner of this practice of address 'Reekie Lin', Orchard Road, Milnerton, Cape Province. In 1969 he is recorded as of address 505 Escom Building, Heerengracht, Cape Town.
